How is it best to describe my nan in one word! Easy she was a Rottweiler. That sounds harsh but is honestly one of the words I would use to describe her. You didn't mess with her. Nan told you exactly what she thought and she would tell you in no uncertain terms if she was not happy.
This is how I like to think of her. A strong woman who was old school. Born in 1922 the youngest of many siblings this influenced the way she was throughout her adult life.

Nanny died on the 18th October 2015.. I don't think I will ever forget how my mum and I was with her to the end on that day. My beautiful nan was finally at peace after fighting a short battle with cancer and like everything she fought till the end. RIP our little rottweiler xxxxx
